Tuesday 20th June saw the culmination of an ongoing project where 8 children from Belvedere Junior School were taken to the Bromley Golf Centre to compete in an ‘Inter-academy’ competition .
The children have thoroughly enjoyed the project and relished the opportunity to play golf on a real life golf course! Mrs. Lomax, Head of School told us , “We will be teaching golf as part of the Physical Education curriculum next year. Having our own golf course on the school field allows the children to continue to develop this love of learning skills involved in a new sport. It is essential in developing sportsmanship and emotional resilience to the world around them”
