All London schools were invited to celebrate Historic England’s first ever London History Day which will take place on Wednesday, May 31 – the date that Big Ben first started keeping time in 1859.
At James Dixon Primary School in Anerley, the children celebrated by wearing costumes which represented London's history.
Children interpreted the theme in may different ways from Amy Winehouse to Big Ben, Charlie Chaplin to Katherine Parr.
