The sun was shining off the polished bonnets of beautiful vintage and classic cars at Valence School.
More than 2,000 visitors came along to the annual Hill Sprint, Vintage and Classic Car Show in Westerham.
The event is held to raise money for the school, a day and residential school for children with severe medical needs and complex disabilities.
Pre-1975 cars were lined up for visitors to admire and speak with the owners about restoration and origin. They even had the chance to sit in the driver’s seat to find out what it feels like.
Refreshments kept everyone going, whilst the BBQs were very popular throughout the day.
The Hill Sprint, which saw many cars take part was the main attraction, taking place with a commentary about the cars’ histories and owners.
The day was organised by Toby Ballard, chair of the Friends of Valence, the school’s charity fundraising arm. He said: “It was a great day with a great turn out. To see so many of these special cars lined up is so great for both real enthusiasts and others too. Thank-you to everyone who came and enjoyed the day with us.”
