Remi Knight Community Fundraiser for St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham was delighted to attend the Excelcare head office in Bromley, to meet the aspiring Ozzie Ertosun.
Remi said: "I wanted to come and collect this cheque personally, so that I could meet and thank Ozzie for braving such an inspiring Mount Everest Challenge with his brother Engin Ertosun and their friends Mike Millen and Steve Doran.
"Each person is unique and we tailor our care to meet social, emotional and spiritual needs, as well as manage physical symptoms.
"Every year we provide care and support to over 6,000 people across south-east London, both at home and in the hospice. This generous donation will cover the cost for us to provide support and care to one patient throughout their illness."
