The Pickhurst girls football team will take part in the ESFA Danone Nations Cup Final at Stoke City Football Club's stadium on Saturday 20th May. The competition is the world’s biggest tournament for 10 to 12 year olds.  Pickhurst have already progressed through a demanding qualifying process; winning district, county and South England finals to qualify for this prestigious event.

Darren Alcock, ESFA Competitions Manager says that this is an outstanding achievement for the teams, as over 6,000 school teams entered the competition back in September.

Craig Belgrave, Head of PE at Pickhurst and coach of the team said that he is so proud of the girls having already represented Bromley at the London Youth Games, to also get to the National Final is a great credit to the girls, who are now down to the last 8 schools in the country.

They will have a memorable day up in Stoke and do everyone proud. The memories created for the girls involved will last a lifetime and we are very grateful for the fantastic support we have received from Danone and also Stoke City for allowing us to use their fantastic facilities.
