The Forest Hill Society will be tidying up and planting flowers at and around Forest Hill Station on Saturday 13th May from 2pm. All are welcome to join us to lend a hand at weeding and tidying up the flower beds and boxes on the station platforms, the station forecourt and around the town centre. This is a great opportunity for some light gardening and months of enjoyment when you walk through the town centre with a sense of a good well done!
The replacement planting won't take long and the area under the trees is looking good with last year's plants reappearing, but there are also lots of weeds which need to be eliminated. It would be good if there is someone who can climb up there but also recognise the weeds from the plants.
