Harriet Grindley, Abigail Scott and Lisa Kyle, Speech and Language Therapists at Darent Valley Hospital, will be cycling 250 miles on static bikes in the hospital entrance from 1:30 – 4pm for 4 days, Monday 8th May to Thursday 11th May, as part of their fundraising activities for Valley Hospital Charity’s event Ride4life.

The threesome signed up to the 5 day cycling challenge from Darent Valley Hospital to Paris taking place in September, with the first task being buying a bike!

“'We're all looking forward to the static cycle challenge next week. It'll be a good test of how our training and leg muscles are coming along with just over 4 months to go until the real thing in September! We've managed to recruit some help from other staff members at the hospital in different teams, so not only will it be a great event for fundraising, but also raising the profile and awareness of the charity in and around the hospital.” Harriet Grindley https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/lisaharrietabbie Ride4Life 2017 Valley to Paris is a 5 day fully supported cycle ride from Darent Valley Hospital to Paris.
