A new programme of creative classes, to support parents/carers with babies & toddlers, launches in Bexley.
New hands on creative workshops have been developed by The Creation Station to enable parents to share, develop & discover with there child. The new programme called 'Shimmy shapes' have been developed in line with the early years foundation stage, to nurture parenting skills and to develop essential bonds. The fun and practical weekly classes provide a range of art & craft activities & include ideas & tips to continue play ideas at home.
The weekly classes are based on nuturing the child's own curiosity to develop a live of learning through shared hands on creative fun. The 'Baby discover classes have been developed for babies aged 6 months to 18 months & the 'Little explorers' classes 1-5yrs of age. Activities include exploring wet & dry clay & creating their own clay creatures, matching shapes & colour & creating dancing puppets and lots lots more.
