Belvedere Junior School have a new addition to the school community.
Mrs. Lomax, Head of School, has introduced a Reading Dog named Boris to the children to help raise confidence levels and self belief amongst selected children.
Boris is a fully trained Pets as Therapy dog, who comes to school every Friday morning and has become a much loved addition amongst pupils and staff.
It is lovely to see the children's faces light up when they see him enter the building. The children who read to him have vastly improved in their fluency when reading aloud and general confidence levels.
