Priory Shopping Centre rolled out the red carpet for a very special local mother

Shelley Filippi Centre Manager said “We would like to thank everyone that has entered their mother for our Mother’s Day Make-over. 41 mothers were nominated and the winners were chosen by Sainsbury’s, Wilko and Pep & Co. Families are the foundation of our shopping centre and the local community, we cannot think of a more fitting way to celebrate our local family of shoppers than to provide a real treat for mothers like Nicola.”

Our winning entry has come from Lauren Glet who nominated her mother Nicola Glet. Nicola enjoyed a make-over at the Priory Shopping Centre on Saturday 25th March. They had lunch at the Diner, a beautiful bouquet from Priory Flowers, Chocolates & plant from Wilco, a bottle of bubbly from Sainsbury and 12 x 12 canvas from Express Framing. Nicola was then treated to a VIP personal shopping experience and make over from shops in the centre.

At the end of a hard day’s shopping both Nicola and daughter Lauren were thrilled with the result and ‘made-over’ with their treat.

Daughter Lauren said “My mum definitely deserves this makeover because she is an absolutely amazing mother. She puts everybody else first without a second thought and I think it’s time for her to be pampered for a change”.

“I have to admit I was really nervous before today”, said Mum Nicola. “However, everyone at the centre has been so kind and helpful - I’ve really enjoyed myself. I cannot thank Lauren enough for nominating me”.
