The Fabulous Cleeve Park School Boccia Boys have done it again Hot on the heels of their Gold Medal win at Crystal Palace at the start of the month, on Wednesday 15th March 2017 the boys, Jack Tatton, Asa Hems, Harry Crouch and George Miller competed in the Physical Disability London Finals and came away with the winner’s trophy and a place in the National Finals in Sheffield in May!
There were 45 students from 9 schools involved in the competition and a great sporting display was witnessed by those attending. The event is organised by the Panathlon Challenge and sponsored by The Lord Taverners.
The boys, supported by Nicola Beaven (TA) and coach Leyton Thompson (Progress Leader, Year 11) have played determinedly and have fought hard in many competitions to reach this stage and we, as a school, are beyond proud of their achievements.
Roll on the National Finals in May.
