Apex Lifts understand the importance of people and community, which is why they are delighted to announce that Managing Director, Warren Jenchner, has been made a trustee of local charity, SNAP.

Based in Bexley, SNAP has been helping families with children affected by disabilities for over 20 years. Founded in 1994 to ensure that needs of disabled children were considered in leisure and support services in the borough, SNAP has continuously campaigned for improved facilities and a greater awareness of disability in the local community. It has evolved from helping 60 families to supporting over 1,200 with the help of staff, volunteers and trustees.

As well as sitting on the Board of Trustees, Warren will be offering a stream of practical support to keep SNAP’s vision firmly on track, by sharing Apex resources, staff and skills. “I’ve been involved with SNAP for several years, through various donations and sponsorship of events.” Says Warren, “The work the staff and volunteers at SNAP is life-changing, both for the young people affected by disabilities and their families. To be appointed as a Trustee is an absolute privilege.”

Aline Macready, SNAP’s Chief Executive, is thrilled to welcome their newest trustee to the Board. “We’re incredibly lucky to have Warren join our organisation. As the Managing Director of Apex Lifts, he has the shrewd business acumen that we need to steer SNAP in the right direction, so that we can continue to support local families through the provision of play programmes, education workshops, youth clubs and family activity weekends away.”

Most recently, Apex Lifts have been working with SNAP on their 2017 ‘It’s My Future’ campaign, an initiative aimed at helping young people with disabilities realise their ambitions. With the donation of their time and resources, Warren and all the staff at Apex Lifts hopes to make this year’s campaign SNAP’s most successful to date.
