50 school students hosted London Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, Sophie Linden to discuss Sadiq Khan's new Crime and Safety strategy on Wednesday 22nd February at St. Paul's Academy, Abbey Wood.

This event was organised with Citizens UK, after young people reported not feeling safe walking home after school.

Patrick Winston, Principal at St. Paul's Academy, said: "As a school we all we can to keep our students safe, through our police liaison officer and our own staff. But our school values teach our young people to do something when issues affect them and their classmates. We are immensely proud of our young people who led this event. They are citizens of tomorrow."
