The Priory Shopping Centre was a buzz with busy green fingered youngsters planting and decorating posy pots for their mothers ahead of Mother’s Day.
80 children joined in the fun from 10am and 3pm Wednesday 15 February for the FREE 'Pose with a Posy' activity. Priory Flowers supplied the plants which brought a splash of colour to the day.
Centre Manager Shelley Filippi said “This was such a lovely bright community event to be involved with; photographs of the youngsters with their plant and decorated pots will be uploaded to the centers Facebook page for everyone to like and share. The picture with the most likes will win a £50 hamper for their proud mum. It was lovely to see the creativeness of the children and the delight on their mums faces when presented with their Posy”.
Closing date for the online competition is 5pm Tuesday 28 February.
