Daniel Earley donated his long hair along with over £1,000 to The Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust make wigs for children who through illness or treatment, lose their hair.
Dan is known to his workmates and friends as Lion Man because of his mane of thick, long hair.
He said no one would be sadder to see it go than him but these children needed it more.
So many people got behind this donation.
Hair stylist John Fortuna, cut Dan's hair in front of quite a crowd at Filippos in Belvedere.
Passers by came in to see what was going on and left donations, the staff at a branch of Nationwide held a raffle and over 50 people made donations online.
