In a flap about welfare changes? Leg it down to Catford Nando's and join a focus group discussing the government's plans.

The Universal Credit scheme has already ruffled a few feathers, but Lewisham Homes is inviting people to discuss the plans - with the added benefit of a free chicken dinner.

From next March, the credit - which rolls all benefits into one monthly payment - will be rolled out in Lewisham borough and paid directly into people's bank accounts.

But critics are worried people may have trouble budgeting for the full month.

Lewisham Homes is holding the session for its tenants aged under 25 on June 23 from 3pm to 5pm at the Catford eatery.
