The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have welcomed a baby girl at 8.34am this morning (May 2), Kensington Palace have announced.
Kate was admitted to the Lindo Wing of St Mary's in Paddington at 6am this morning with Prince William by her side.
The announcement that the long-awaited baby, who is fourth in line to the throne, was a little princess weighing 8lb 3oz, came shortly after 11am.
The couple claimed they didn't know the sex of the baby until this morning but odds were on it being a girl with Paddy Power offering 4/9 odds on a female and 13/8 on 21-month-old Prince George welcoming a new baby brother.
The next question on everybodies lips is what the Royal couple will call their new arrival.
Favourites include: Charlotte, Alice, Elizabeth, Victoria, Alexandra and Diana.
