RESIDENTS have enjoyed two weeks of fun and entertainment at Lark in the Park.

The annual free community event ran from July 26 until today (August 10) at Sidcup Place in The Green, Sidcup.

This was the 12th year churches in Sidcup and nearby areas provided free activities for children, teenagers and adults for 16 days at the start of the summer holidays.

There were free activities and entertainments on offer every day and most evenings for all age groups including the over-60s.

Activities included clay modelling, painting, live music, inflatables, face painting, a children's puppet show, and a penalty shoot-out competition.

The final event at this year's Lark in the Park is the Church in the Park Finale which starts at 7.30pm.

I was rather concerned by the lack of Equestrian themed entertainment.
But, not being one to complain, would say that many on the video, seemed to be very 'hyper' and 'full of beans'.Must have been fun!Maybe we can Gee up other towns for similar frivolity.
