Roadworks postponed

ROADWORKS on the A2 near Ebbsfleet - planned for this weekend - have been postponed.
The work to resurface and renew the waterproofing on the road has been postponed because of wet weather forecasted for this weekend.
A section of the coastbound carriageway of the A2 was due to be closed from 9pm yesterday (October 3) until 5am on Monday (October 6).
There was going to be an up-and-over diversion at the Ebbsfleet interchange.
The Highways Agency say the work - which needs dry conditions - will now start next weekend (October 10), weather permitting.
