Traffic diversions after road collapse

DIVERSIONS have been put in place after part of a road in Sidcup collapsed.

A section of Hatherley Crescent, between the Station Road traffic lights and the right-hand fork leading to Alma Road, collapsed this morning (July 1).

The following diversions have been put in place:

Station Road (southbound), Sidcup High Street, Hatherley Road, Hatherley Crescent.

Station Road (northbound), Hurst Road, Footscray Lane, Faraday Avenue, Hatherley Crescent.

Hatherley Crescent, Alma Road, Station Road.

The cause of the collapse has not yet been established.

WHAT A SHAME THEY FOUND IT EARLY. WOULD WE REALLY HAVE MISSED SIDCUP IF IT DISSAPEARED TO THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH. GOT AN IDEA TO FILL IT IN, GET ALL THE CHAVS TO SIT IN IT!

Well Billy, dread to think what would off happened if the hole would off got bigger, we would off all been living in welling by now.
