    Dartford lorry fire closes road

A ROAD is closed because of a lorry fire in Dartford.

The A206 Bob Dunn Way is shut both ways because of the incident around Marsh Street.

Police and fire service are at the scene.

This incident comes around six hours after University Way was closed because of a lorry fire.

Firefighters from Dartford and Thames-side attended the blaze at 2.10am which was in a vehicle carrying carpet tiles and corrosive materials.

They were there for around two-and-a-half hours.

The cause of the early-morning fire is not yet known and is being investigated.
