CHANGES to public transport will be made to keep London running during tomorrow's marathon.

Bus diversions will be put in place from 6.30am across the route of the race.

The Docklands Light Railway will have a modified timetable with services starting at 5.30am tomorrow (April 13) from Tower Gateway.

It will run every 2.5 minutes on the busiest sections of the race route and a normal Sunday service will restart at 7pm.

Greenwich foot tunnel will be closed southbound from Isle of Dogs to Greenwich between 10am and 12pm.

The route and approach roads in Greenwich and the Woolwich area will be closed from 7am.

Some roads are expected to be reopened by 11am with the route fully open by 7pm.

Transport for London (TfL) recommends spectators take the river bus at Greenwich to Canary Wharf, Tower Millennium, London Bridge City or Embankment Piers for a good view of the race.

TfL will be providing free travel for all runners and officials on the tube and DLR until 5pm.

Call 020 7222 1234 or visit the TfL website for more information.
