Dartford firefighters help tackle train fire at Sevenoaks Railway Station

DARTFORD firefighters helped tackle a fire on a train last night at Sevenoaks Railway Station.

Crews were called at 10.15pm (April 20) to reports of a blaze on a passenger train.

Four fire engines and support vehicles attended the scene and the station was evacuated.

The fire was extinguished by 10.30pm and crews left at 10.45pm.

There were no reports of any casualties.
