Police car smashes into car in Gravesend (From News Shopper)

• "When its you waiting for the emergency services to arrive, you do want them there asap. However, if they crash on the way then they are of no use to anyone. Yesterday I saw an ambulance on the wrong side of the road, passing a queue of traffic and then, on the wrong side of the lights, tackling what was now oncoming traffic and dodging between the cars turning right and the cars going straight on. It was a very "gung ho" example of driving that relied heavily on the oncoming traffic avoiding the ambulance and could so easily have gone wrong."
