Catford, Lewisham and New Cross have been added to a design of the 2050 tube map which has today been revealed.
The map, which also features Beckenham Junction and Hayes, shows the Bakerloo line continuing past Elephant and Castle with train routes dividing via New Cross Gate and Brockley and meeting again at Lewisham.
From Lewisham the line continues south to Ladywell, Catford, Lower Sydenham and onwards to Eden Park and Hayes.
The map additions follows the Mayor of London’s Infrastructure Plan 2050 which details some of what Transport for London has in the pipeline for south-east London.
However, with the project scheduled as late as 2040, Lewisham and Bromley boroughs will have a wait before they’re finally put on the map.
