A CAMPAIGNER has been talking about her fight to save a derelict pub from demolition.
Minty Challis has been camped out at the Green Man Pub, Bromley Road, Catford, for a week and faces eviction next Friday.
She has arranged a public meeting outside the pub tomorrow at 2pm to inform residents about the proposed demolition to make way for housing.
The 40-year-old said: "All the local memories will be gone.
"We have already lost the Catford Cinema. Why can't we turn the pub into an old age pensioners centre for their tea dances or a place for the kids of Lewisham to go?"
The pub has been closed for around two years.
