AN INFORMATION day for elderly people is going to be held next month.
Advisors will be on hand at the event in Bromley United Reformed Church to talk free of charge on everything from pensions to legal matters, healthy living to benefits.
There will also be the chance to learn more about home security, adult education and even try out Tai Chi.
The day takes place between 10am and 2.30pm at the church in Widmore Road, Bromley, on September 10.
It is being organised by Bromley Council with Age Concern, Broomleigh Housing Association, Liberata, the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Pension Service.
Portfolio holder for adult and community services Councillor Graham Arthur, said: "Knowing where to get the right information at the right time can make a real difference to the quality of someone's life and probably never more so than as we get older.
"I am delighted to be working with our partners to offer older people in Bromley this rare chance to access a host of free information and advice on everything from pensions to healthy living and all under one roof."
