A HOLLYWOOD actor is looking forward to treading the boards in this year's Bromley pantomime.
Steve Guttenberg will play Baron Hardup in Cinderella at the Churchill Theatre in the town's High Street.
The 49-year-old found fame when he appeared in 1980s comedies including the Police Academy series and Three Men and a Baby.
This year Mr Guttenberg was one of the contestants on the American version of television show Strictly Come Dancing, which is called Dancing with the Stars.
Mr Guttenberg said: "I am looking forward to the honour and the fun of performing in Bromley.
"There is everything an actor needs to practice his craft with an entertaining show and a talented cast.
"I appreciate being invited to participate in such a time honoured tradition."
The Churchill's chief executive Derek Nicholls said: "Steve was one of the biggest movie stars of 1980s, and it's amazing to think that news of Bromley's renowned panto has made its way to the Hollywood Hills."
Also confirmed to appear in the production is comedian Helen Lederer.
She has appeared in television shows including Absolutely Fabulous and The Young Ones and will bring some magic and comedy to the role of Fairy Godmother.
