A TEENAGER was thrown to the ground by a man who tried to sexually assault her in the middle of the night.
The 14-year-old girl was walking through Crystal Palace Park to get from the bus station to Anerley Hill at around 12.15am on Saturday (April 19), when a man grabbed her from behind and threw her down.
He then pulled his trousers down, and attempted to remove the victim's trousers as well.
However, he was then disturbed by a passing man, and ran off towards Crystal Palace railway station.
The suspect is described as black, aged between 30 and 40, and around 5ft 6ins tall.
He was wearing a blue hooded top and black or blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms.
