YOU may feel something in the air tonight but don't kick up a stink, it's just the "Euro-whiff".

A foul smell in the air, dubbed "Euro whiff" by the Met Office, has been reported across south east England today. The Met office have blamed the metallic sulphur pong on easterly winds from continental Europe.

A Met Office spokesman said: "The cause of the smell could be from agricultural or industrial works in countries such as Germany, Belgium, or the Netherlands. The smell has been especially noticeable in London."

Phew! Or should that be Poo! I thought I smelt something this morning. Everywhere smelt like a wet dog/cheesy feet!!

I thought I was imagining things and going mad but when I spoke to a work colleague she said exactly the same thing!!

I thought maybe the divine being should be reversed from GOD to DOG!!

My ex lives in Thamesmead and i think maybe you have gotten used to it, because, Thamesmead definetly smells like effluent... must be something to do with being down wind of the sewage works!

It has been discovered that the smell is blowing in from France - a case of Pepe Le Pew or eau de toilette.

By the way Dannii I am unfortunate enough to have to drive through Thamesmead most days, do you by chance have a peg permanently attached to your nose?

Talking of Chance, maybe it's blowing through the Chanel Tunnel.
