A BUS narrowly missed driving through a shop window after colliding with a signpost in Plumstead.
The driver of the single-decker bus was the only person injured when the vehicle mounted the pavement and missed the window of an off-licence.
She was treated by a London Ambulance crew for shock and minor injuries and taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich.
Fire crews from Plumstead, Lewisham and Bexley were called to the collision in Plumstead Common Road at 9.15am today.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Luckily no-one on the pavement or in the shop was injured.
"There was a whisker between the corner of the bus and the shop window."
Plumstead Common Road was closed while emergency services cleaned up after the accident.
