A COUNCIL will receive £3.3m in funding to boost services for young people.
Greenwich Council will receive the funds as part of a package of measures which will see £79m shared out among all London boroughs.
The London Development Agency, the Mayor of London's agency for business and jobs, will provide £20m.
Another £59m will be provided by the Government's Department for Children, Schools and Families.
Money will be targeted at deprived youngsters who are most likely to be victims of crime and are at risk of getting involved in anti-social behaviour.
Greenwich Council leader Councillor Chris Roberts said: "The funding is great news for the young people of Greenwich.
"Providing platforms which can enable young people to prosper and achieve is a priority which Greenwich places a great deal of importance on."
