POLICE have issued another picture of a 'high risk' person who has not been seen since Christmas Eve.

Josh Beasley was last seen leaving the ice-rink in the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College, King William Walk, Greenwich, at around 5.15pm on December 24.

His parents expected him to return to their home in Effingham Road, Lee, either later that evening or early on Christmas Day but he never did.

The investigation into the missing Thomas Tallis School pupil has been taken over by the specialist crime directorate, from borough police, because he is classified as high risk'.

Josh was worse for wear because of drink when he was last seen but there is no suggestion he was violent or aggressive.

The 17-year-old is white, 5ft 9in tall, with short black hair and was wearing a white shirt, black jeans and black boots when he was last seen.

Investigating officer Acting Detective Chief Inspector Clive Heys said: "Josh's disappearance is a complete mystery, it is totally out of character and his family and friends are very concerned.

"If anybody does know where Josh is I would ask that they make contact as soon as possible.

"It was a busy night and someone must have seen Josh as he walked away from the ice rink along Romney Rd and towards the town centre."

Anyone with information about his disappearance or whereabouts should call the incident room on 020 8721 4868 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
