POLICE have closed down the sixth cannabis factory discovered in north Kent within three months.
Officers found around 500 plants worth an estimated £40,000 after being called to reports of a possible house burglary in Kings Drive, Gravesend, on Monday.
The plants, in varying stages of maturity, were found growing in four rooms and the loft of the semi-detached house.
There was evidence lighting equipment had been used in the property.
It also appeared the house's electricity meter had been bypassed.
The find was the sixth to have been made in north Kent since April.
Others were discovered in Coombfield Drive, Darenth; Littlebrook Manor Way, Temple Hill, Dartford; High Street, Swanscombe; Tynedale Close, Dartford; and Hillhouse Road, Stone.
