CASH has been stolen from a blind pensioner after thieves talked their way into her home.
The woman, aged 89, was at home alone in Clifton Grove, Gravesend, when the two thieves called at her door on May 18.
At first she refused to let them in but they were persistent and eventually managed to get inside.
They said had come from an electricity company and one tested some of the light switches in the house while the other stole £20 from a purse.
The thieves left after the woman became uneasy and started shouting at them.
Kent police would like to hear from residents in the area who may have seen two men acting suspiciously at around 4.30pm that day.
If you have any information, call Detective Sergeant Mike Worrall on 01474 565135 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
