A 26-YEAR-OLD man accused of sexual assault is facing a possible retrial.
A jury at Inner London Crown Court failed to reach a verdict yesterday on a charge of sexual assault against Omar Abd-el-Gowad.
The alleged incident occurred in New Cross on November 9 last year.
Gowad, of Stillness Road, Honor Oak Park, Lewisham, had denied the charge.
Judge Colin Smith adjourned the case until April 18.
This is the date prosecutors will confirm whether there will be a retrial.
