POLICE are warning people to take care at cash machines so they do not become victims of scams.
A smartly dressed man has been approaching people at the cashpoint outside Tesco, Edgington Way, St Paul's Cray, and telling them it is not working.
He then takes their money and debit cards.
The man, who is believed to be of north African descent, has targeted three men aged 68, 75 and 81, and stolen a total of £750.
