POLICE are appealing for information after a masked man pistol whipped and robbed a staff member in an off-licence.
The man entered the Kent House off-licence in Kent House Road, Beckenham, just after 9pm on February 2.
A 38-year-old man who was stacking shelves at the back of the shop was threatened by the man, who was wearing a balaclava and carrying a black short barrelled gun.
The victim was forced to get behind the shop's counter and open the till where he was hit with the gun.
The suspect took an unknown amout of money and fled the shop, running down Lennard Road into Newlands Park.
He is described as a white man and is around 180cm tall.
The victim was treated by the London Ambulance Service for bruising to his left ear and a bump on his head following the assault.
