POLICE have made three arrests and seized cocaine in a drugs swoop on two pubs.
Thirty-three officers from Lee Green, Lewisham Central and Rushey Green safer neighbourhood teams carried out the operation at the Station Hotel pub, Staplehurst Road, Hither Green and The George pub, Rushey Green, Catford.
A small amount of cocaine was found in the men's toilets in the Station Hotel.
And 37 people were swabbed as they entered the venues to test for traces of drugs, but all tested negative.
While nobody was arrested for drug offences, police made three arrests for other offences during the operation on January 20.
A 27-year-old man from Catford was arrested and received a formal caution for possessing a knife.
Decorator Caryle Fraser, aged 19, of Woodhill, Woolwich, was charged with possession of a knife.
He appeared before Greenwich Magistrates' Court on January 22.
Fraser was released on bail to reappear at the court on March 29.
Police also arrested Omar Brown, from Walworth, south-east London, who was wanted for failing to appear before magistrates for motoring offences.
The 25-year-old decorator was bailed to appear at Bexley Magistrates' Court on February 7.
