ANYONE who saw the moment a 49-year-old man was killed in a road accident in Bromley is being asked to come forward.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision in Warner Road, at the junction with London Road, Bromley, at around 7.35am on January 18.
They could not save the pedestrian, who has been named as Mark Sales, of Coniston Road, Bromley.
Police say they believe Mr Sales was in collision with a white Renault panel van.
The 59-year-old van driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has been bailed to return to a south London police station in late March, pending further enquiries.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Paul Sanders, from the Met’s road death investigation unit, said: "I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this collision or seen Mr Sales to contact the incident room."
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information to call the incident room on 020 8285 1574 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
