DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses following the death of a man who was reportedly having an epileptic fit when hit by a van.
Police have identified the 49-year-old man who died as Mark Sales of Coniston Road.
It is believed Mr Sales was in collision with a white Renault panel van on Wednesday January 18.
Police were called to Warner Road at the junction with London Road, Bromley, at about 7.36am.
Mr Sales was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van, a 59-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
He was subsequently bailed to return in late March, pending further investigation.
Detective Sergeant Paul Sanders, Road Death Investigation Unit, said: "I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this collision or seen Mr Sales to contact the incident room."
Police are asking that anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information call the incident room on 020 8285 1574, or to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
