SWANLEY residents are being invited to have their say on proposed developments in their area.

People have until May 10 to voice their opinion to Sevenoaks District Council on the sites, which have been identified by town and parish councils, residents and landowners.

Proposed sites include Broom Hill and United House in Goldsel Road which have been allocated for residential use.

Land to the rear of the Premier Inn in London Road has also been allocated as an employment site.

The council’s cabinet member for planning, Councillor Jill Davison said: "This process allows local people to have direct input into the use of space and land around them, their views are very important and will help to shape the community we live in.

"If you have something to say about any of these proposals, please do not hesitate to get in touch."

Pray when were SDC planning to tell residents about this? Notification through our letter box would have been better than a short article in an online newspaper.
