Film and exhibition marks life on Ferrier estate

A FILM about the Ferrier estate is being shown at an exhibition until next month.

It follows on from a guerrilla art project at the doomed housing estate last year, when photos of people who lived there were put up in abandoned walkways.

The film features interviews with a number of residents, some of whom still live on the estate despite demolition work having started to make way for new homes.

Created by artists Anna Batchelor and Sarah Colson, the exhibition also includes photos and stitchwork marking life on the Ferrier.

Called Home Sweet Home, it runs until February 12 at Shopwork in Bellenden Road, Peckham.
