THE director of Biggin Hill Airport says a report indicates there is no need to change procedures there following the Farnborough plane crash a month ago.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) has produced an interim report on its findings into the cause of the Cessna Citation crash.
Five people died when the small plane crashed into a house in Romsey Close after taking off from Biggin Hill Airport on March 30.
Airport director Peter Lonergan said: "The interim report into the tragic event indicates that something happened once the aircraft was airborne.
"We continue to work with the AAIB to help find the cause.
"There is nothing in the AAIB report that indicates that any change is required to the airport's current operational procedures."
The victims were former racing driver David Leslie, aged 54, Apex Motorsport boss Richard Lloyd, 63, Christopher Allarton, 25, and pilots Mike Roberts, 63, and Michael Chapman, 57.
