Plane crash families visit scene
 |
| The fireball caused by Sunday's crash |
FAMILIES of the victims of the Farnborough plane crash visited the scene today (April 1).
Their loved ones were killed when their twin-engine private jet crashed into numbers 4 and 5 Romsey Close, Farnborough, on Sunday.
Everyone on board the Cessna Citation jet was killed when it crashed into the houses, demolishing one house and severely damaging the garage of another.
The brother of the youngest victim Christopher Allarton, 25, read out a statement at the scene.
Graeme Allarton, 20, said: "We would like to thank all the people in the community and the emergency services and anyone who has shown support for all the people involved.
"We want to send out our feelings to the other families.
"Everyone was dearly loved, especially my brother Christopher."

I Was on the estate at the time of the crash everyone was in shock to what just happened, we were upset that there was nothing anyone could do. My heart goes out to the pilot's, passengers & their families and friends. Rest in peace & god bless. They are HEROS for saving so many other peoples lives.( Forever grateful).

The families are in mourning and the people at Farnborough will still be in shock as witnesses. The debris will still be in the area and I imagine police so it will be a bit hard for the local people to ignore and [bold]move on[/bold] as quickly as you would like. Best not to make a comment like yours as the [italic]wound is still open[/italic] .

Words cannot express the sorrow and sadness I feel over the Farnborough plane crash. The terror and courage of the pilots and passengers could not be imagined. My heart is with the families of those poor people. God Bless them.

I have a heart.I would also like to point out if a member of my family was involved I would not expect people whom I had never ever heard of to be reacting in this melodramatic way.

You miss the point. People are not reacting in a melodramatic way, most people are in shock and also overwhelmed with the courageous pilot and passengers who were witnessing their own deaths - although they probably would not have survived the pilot made the decision of landing as far away from dangering the people below - now thats what you call having a [bold]VERY BIG HEART![/bold] The pilots a hero extremely brave and so were his passengers

This is just so awful and so sad! Why do bad things keep happening! May all the victims friends and family find the strength to cope with the loss of their loved ones - so so sorry for them.

J - You've obviously never heard the saying "there but for the grace of God go I"
Many local people will be shocked, many of us have ties with the area, use the airport and know that this accident could have happened in a different location. To borrow one phrase "it could be you". Empathy is not necessarily hysteria.

D..Don't patronise me.
I live quite close to the site as well.
The fact of the matter is that things could have been a be a lot worse.
There will be calls to ban the Biggin Hill Air Show next.
Life goes on.

Look this isnt the place to argue this is a place to put ur thoughts on the incident. We should be thinking about the familes and not arguing.
My thoughts and prayer are with the families at this sad time.
Please stop the arguments and think about how u would feel if it was your family.
