FLOWERS and tributes have been left in Romsey Close for the victims of yesterday's plane crash in Farnborough.
Five people on board the Cessna 501 from Biggin Hill were killed when the twin-engined jet came down in the Broadwater Gardens housing estate.
Two pilots and three passengers on the business flight to Pau in France.
Witnesses said the jet plummeted with a "roar" before it smashed into a cul-de-sac and set two houses and several cars alight.
The victims have not been formally identified by police, but are believed to include two men well known in the world of motor-racing.
Racing driver David Leslie, 54, from Dumfries in Scotland had competed in every racing championship outside of Formula 1.
He had won many titles in a career spanning almost 40 years and was the leader of Jaguar's racing team.
Richard Lloyd, the head of the newly launched Jaguar racing team, was also killed in the crash.
One of the pilots killed has been named in the media as Mike Roberts.
Flowers were left outside a cordon at the entrance to Romsey Close with a card that read: "With deepest sympathies.
"Our hearts go out to you and your families. God bless, RIP."
