NEWS SHOPPER readers were out in force to make the most of the snow which turned the area into a winter wonderland.
It may have caused difficulties on the roads and public transport, but many people could not get enough of the white stuff.

"How lucky were we that our tree fell into our neighbour's garden and missed everything.
"The fence panel that was in the way blew out of the way to make way for the tree before it fell."
