Orpington's Got Talent

THE most talented people in Orpington gave crowds a real treat as they competed for a £500 prize.
Orpington’s Got Talent, organised by the Walnuts Shopping Centre, brought together dancers, singers, gymnasts and musicians for a feast of entertainment in the town centre.
In all, 14 acts made it to the final stage of the contest.
The winner was 14-year-old Hannah Renton, whose rendition of Bring Me to Life by Katherine Jenkins wowed the crowds.
In second place came 27-year-old singer-songwriter Nikki Felle and the Tanya Dirrane School of Irish Dancing were third.
The contest was judged by Walnuts Shopping Centre manager Martin Price, News Shopper editor Richard Firth and John Short from the Churchill Theatre, who donated theatre tickets for the runners-up.
