EBBSFLEET International Station has been unveiled, putting north Kent firmly on the map.

The station, off Southfleet Road, Swanscombe, is set to be used by more than one million travellers per year.

It is part of the £5.2 billion development linking the region with central London and the continent.

It should be up and running by September next year with trains heading for international destinations including Brussels and Paris.
