A GARAGE full of household rubbish was set on fire in Gravesend this morning after the door was left open.
Firefighters spent around an hour battling the flames in Virginia Walk after being called at around 12.30am.
They managed to stop the blaze from spreading to a nearby house.
The cause is said to be suspicious as a Kent Fire and Rescue spokesman says the garage door had been left open overnight.
